Company History
Dixie Tune Up went from being a 5-bay auto shop to being a major automotive operation as a repair shop, racing specialist, and internet store!

We started off in Rockingham, NC, way back in 1990, as an auto shop that offered all kinds of repair work. It wasn't long before we started doing performance modification work on cars and trucks, getting involved in fuel injection and other computer based auto performance issues. In 1991 we debuted the Dixie Cap, our little capacitor with a big impact! Some of our cars still have those same Dixie Caps in them today, and they still run great!

1991 was a big year in a lot of other ways too. That year, we hooked up with Panther Racing and M&E Engines, of NASCAR, and started working with Sy Earnhardt to research and develop Winston Cup engine blocks and cylinder heads. We're involved in racing to this day, teaming up with Shankle Motorsports on a racing team for the Hooter Cup and Fastruck Series.

In 1993 we relocated to Auburndale, Florida, where we live today. We still work on cars in person as well as offering our Dixie Caps on the internet to hundreds of customers nationwide and worldwide. Even Yankees are getting that Dixie spirit!

Dixie Tune Up is owned and operated by William C Webb III. Shop features 3-bay repair and maintenance. All four Enginewity processes are available on location.
